Where to buy the best watermelon in San Antonio TX

 I bought watermelon from Central Market Alamo heights  a 3-4 times, each time it is disappointment. The melons are not sweet.

So far I was extremely happy with the watermelons from HEB on Basse and Trade Joe on Basse. The HEB tops the chart, watermelons are red and perfectly sweet.

Real Guacamole from HEB on Basse for 7 dollars , avoid buying it from Central Market

 

This is the freshest and most real guacamole I have ever bought, and it is from HEB on Basse. 

Anything else on the market is either filled with starch and is not avocado or is old. 

They have it in mild and spicy variety and both are excellent.

I tried the one from  Central Market a couple of times, it is always older.. So chose the HEB option. The price is the same. 

White Mountain Bulgarian Yogurt - Non - Fat ( The blue package) - I totally recommend!

 

I used to buy the red jar from the brand but did not like it as much, maybe because it was more heavy on fat which changes the flavor a bit. This time I chose the non-fat option and I am truly impressed. This yogurt is very comparable with Trimona, truly real yogurt aged to perfection, consistency is excellent, no starch or pectin, no cream, just yogurt. I believe it is cheaper than the Trimona and planning to start buying this from now on.

450g of Feta cheese from Wholefoods for $7.99 - I recommend.

This feta has one of the best size for the money ratio on the market. The cheese is real and the chunk is a larger size than the typical feta they sell around town, yet not too large like from the club stores Sam’s and Costco.

Also the cheese is salty enough and spreadable, due to its low fat content which is what I am looking for when I make sandwiches.
